Katie Heindl

Katie is a versatile editorial writer who boasts numerous accolades in the Sports, Entertainment, and Health & Wellness categories and brings a wealth of experience to agency projects.

As a credentialed NBA writer she has bylines at The New York Times Magazine, Rolling Stone, SLAM, The Athletic, Flagrant, Canadian Business and Yahoo Sports, among others. A contributing writer at DIME, Uproxx’s storied basketball vertical. Katie also writes the newsletter, BASKETBALL FEELINGS, with a book forthcoming from Transit Books. She also serves as a guest lecturer for a sportswriting class at Harvard University.

Her copywriting clients include Nike, the Toronto Raptors, American Express, Toronto FC, Kraft Heinz, Sun Life, Scotiabank, Smirnoff, the Toronto Maple Leafs and MLSE. She has done translating work for international clients, as well as research for film and television with Banger Films and UNINTERRUPTED.
